Tokyu Corporation and Tokyu Recreation Co., Ltd. opened the “Tokyu Kabukicho Tower” in Shinjuku Kabukicho on April 14, 2023. The tower is a high-rise complex consisting of 48 above-ground floors, five basement floors, and a penthouse, with a height of approximately 225 meters. It features a hotel, a movie theater, a theater, a live hall, and other entertainment facilities.

Recently, on May 22, 2023, the number of visitors to the facility exceeded one million since its opening. Serving as a new urban tourism hub in Shinjuku Kabukicho, the facility has been attracting an average of about 20,000 visitors on weekdays and about 35,000 on weekends and holidays, demonstrating strong performance as an entertainment and leisure facility. In addition, due to its location, there has been a growing trend of overseas visitors enjoying the unique entertainment experiences and dining options offered by this facility.

Additionally, on May 19, 2023, two hotels were opened within the facility. The “BELLUSTAR HOTEL, A Pan Pacific Hotel” is located on floors 18 to 47, while the “HOTEL GROOVE SHINJUKU, A PARKROYAL Hotel” is situated on floors 18 to 38. Even before their opening, these hotels had received numerous reservations from foreign tourists visiting Japan, indicating a rising demand for inbound tourism and a positive outlook for recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic.
