Opening fireworks of the Saitama City Fireworks Festival to be held at three venues in Omiya, Urawa, and Iwatsuki areas, after being either canceled or downsized with no audience and recorded broadcasts since the first year of the Reiwa era, will be held with a live audience for the first time in four years. So enjoy the summer nights in Saitama with your family and friends.

Owada Park Venue
Date: Sunday, July 30th, 2023, from 7:30 pm *In case of inclement weather, it will be postponed to the following day, July 31st (Monday).
Location: Owada Park vicinity (Kita-ku and other areas of Saitama City)
Access: 15 minutes on foot from Omiya Koen Station or Owada Station on the Tobu Urban Park Line (Noda Line)
Features: This venue, which kicks off the Saitama City Fireworks Festival, boasts excellent visibility. You can enjoy the fireworks from any direction.
Omagi Park in Higashi-Urawa
Date: Friday, August 11th, 2023 (National Holiday) from 7:30 pm. *In case of inclement weather, it will be postponed to the following day, August 12th (Saturday).
Location: Omagi Park vicinity (Midori-ku, Saitama City)
Access: 15 minutes on foot from JR Higashi-Urawa Station, following the “Spectator Area Guidance Route”
Features: You can enjoy the fireworks while surrounded by the natural beauty of the Minuma area.
Iwatsuki Culture Park
Date: Saturday, August 19th, 2023, from 7:30 pm. *In case of inclement weather, it will be postponed to August 21st (Monday).
Location: Iwatsuki Cultural Park (Iwatsuki-ku, Saitama City)
Access: About 40 minutes walk from Iwatsuki Station or Higashi-Iwatsuki Station on the Tobu Urban Park Line (Noda Line)
Features: Enjoy the powerful fireworks up close, launched inside the park.
