Reproduce the industry's first canned yakisoba, Fujinomiya yakisoba

From August, Hotei Foods Corporation will release canned foods that reproduce the local Shizuoka specialty, “Fujinomiya Yakisoba.”Yakisoba canned food is the first in the Japanese canned food industry.

Authentic Fujinomiya Yakisoba, which uses wheat flour noodles instead of alternative noodles, is likely to attract attention as a canned product that can be easily enjoyed anytime.

Fujinomiya Yakisoba, known nationwide as local noodles, is characterized by its chewy and elastic noodles.

Speaking of canned noodles, we often use alternative noodles such as konjac. Still, we use wheat flour noodles because we want people all over the country to enjoy the local taste as a Shizuoka company. So we started the development of canned wheat flour noodles.

In this canned food, the amount of water in the noodles and the amount of egg white are used to reproduce the texture of Fujinomiya Yakisoba in the canned food.

After repeated trial and error, noodles were made only for canning. The seasoning was a combination of 3 types of sauces (Worcestershire sauce, medium concentration, powder), and a rich sauce with a slight spiciness in acidity and sweetness was used.

The ingredients are standard cabbage and meat dregs, reproducing the authentic Fujinomiya Yakisoba.
